E 6 – 72 M: The new generation of the classic generator
The electric steam generators E 6 – 72 M are real
CERTUSS steam generators. They are distinguished by their short warm-up time and their low space requirement. They are low-loss and extremely reliable in construction, proven over decades. The E 6 – 72 M convinces with immediate output adjustment, simplified operation and increased accessibility for maintenance.
Small, complete and safe,
the E 6 – 72 M are complete, ready-to-run, electronically controlled steam generators with built-in feed water tank and feed water pump, as well as all pressure and temperature safety devices. Customer only needs to install power and steam lines.
Manual, remote or automatic
Control is carried out manually by simply pressing buttons or with additional automatic control „Thermotimat“ in the device. Control via a central control system / building services management system or external pulse is also possible, as is the display and transfer of operating and fault messages. The heart of the E 6 – 72 M consists of a PLC control system that displays operating and fault messages
with corresponding fault codes.
Electronically controlled electric heating
The output of the heating elements is gradually controlled by semiconductor contactors. This ensures virtually constant steam pressure under symmetrical feed load. The corresponding working pressure range can be set gradually.
Optional – power selection switch
In multi-stage generators, the heat output can be limited.
On request – automatic desalination
Device for fully automatic desalination,
controlled in time and guarantees constant high steam quality.
On request – automatic purging
The steam generators E 6 – 72 M can additionally
be equipped with automatic purging.
The pressure vessel is then reduced at each shutdown .
Installation conditions
In accordance with the European
Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EC, E 6 – 72 M are
classified as category II or III depending on the working pressure. They are tested in accordance with EC type examination. Steam generators E 6 – 72 M

operation in the EU member states.
